When you exchange your timeshare for a cruise, you exchange your timeshare accommodations for cruise ship cabins. Since your timeshare doesn’t include meals, beverages and activities, but the cruise experience does include all those things, you will pay a per diem to cover the extra cost. You may also want to pay an upgrade fee to get a better cabin on a higher deck on the ship.
